Malaysian start-up and service provider Products2U has received an investment from Free Malaysia Today (FMT) and Winacore Capital through the FMT accelerator programme. The FMT accelerator programme invests into high potential ventures and start-ups with existing products and revenue, as well as a full time dedicated team. It aims to supercharge these start-ups through media and cash investment.

A Malaysia-based start-up that aims to facilitate online commerce for underserved offline communities has received an investment from Free Malaysia Today and Winacore Capital under the FMT accelerator programme.

The Products2U platform allows businesses and agents to materially expand their product and service offerings to their local communities, with utility bill payment solutions, digital loan applications, prepaid gaming credits and affordable medical insurance applications.

The Accelerator Programme is an intensive enrichment programme that supports early-stage start-ups through mentorship by the respective industry experts covering business expansion and market access for six months until December 2022.

Six startups from the MYStartup Accelerator Programme’s Cohort 1 have received investments totalling RM1.57 million from 17 angel investors.

The MYStartup Accelerator Programme has announces that six startups from its Cohort 1 have received a total of US$348,000 (RM1.57 million) investments from 17 angel investors.
